I was on a web forum, when I got into an argument with people who were all like "Trump is trying to fix Social Security in only a few months. That is sure to fail! The code to make his tariff idea will never work, it'll be hacked." And my pride as a programmer was aroused, deciding that any decent programmer could write the code to transfer tariffs into social security in days, not months.  As it turned out, I was able to write this math sim in just 8 hours, and I'm not even good at math.

This is mostly a joke game, as you'll discover. The gameplay such that it is, probably amounts to about five minutes of play, though you can technically play longer. It basically just showcases some code where the tariffs are randomly calculated for two countries (China and Germany,  picked arbitrarily) then purchases are totaled and the tariff amount is added.

Playtesting is bringing out glitches though. First I had something wrong with the last part, where you go to collect Social Security and they give you 100% instead of 10%, then Germany had a small issue where 20% to 50% tariffs didn't register because of a typo. In any case, the overall code appears to work.

I'd offer this game for less because it is actually just a tech simulation, but whatever.
