Tales from the Reaper

This is a series of small slice of life stories told by Reapers. Reapers are not exclusively psychopomps in this game universe, but rather are like backstage crew. That is, there is a Reaper of Nature, a Reaper of Physics, and so on. Each story is a self-contained quest but I also tried to tie together an overall story of three Reapers in particular.

I originally made this game as part of a challenge to write a complete Halloween story within a month. I was inspired by Shinigami no Ballad and Tales from the Darkside. The game includes four stories: Sick Girl, Well of Souls, The Crystal, & Reaper in Love.  The second one is the darkest entry, while the others are far more upbeat.  Sick Girl has two endings though.

Another facet of this game is that it actually connects with Oracle of Tao. The character stories can be imported and exported to add additional scenes.
