Seasons Changing


Updates:

  • I made it advance the current day at starting map. This was more to set up the calendar system because there was a small glitch to the calendar before you rest.
  • I made the system menu have an option to switch from Turn Based to ATB, effectively allowing you to toggle the two modes.
  • Fixed the System Menu so you need an Administrative permission (it's just going to Cheat Codes and typing the password Admin) to activate the Debug menu. I had something similar, but this version is simplified.
  • Made a random number generator that rolls at the setup of the game. This means that each game will have a slightly different roll, and thus can have things like a randomized chest or characters that only appear in certain games. I might fiddle with this in future updates.
  • The seasons now have a semi-random shift to them with some years having longer winter or summer than others. The are based based on the year number. I was going to originally use the setup random number generator to make it more random, but I realized that there was not much way to stop it from rerolling the year type. So basically, I needed to have a fixed year cycle which was not what I wanted (I can't figure out how to reroll once a year).
